Student Nutrition Warehouse Worker

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High School diploma or equivalent
  2. Requires six- (6) month's experience stocking and inventorying a warehouse.
  3. Valid New Mexico Driver's License
  4. Must be knowledgeable of basic personal computer operations and be able to operate a forklift

OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION: Maintain and operate student nutrition warehouse by receiving, storing and record keeping of all warehouse stock.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Follows local, state and federal law and adheres to Public of Education and Local School Board Policy.
  2. Receives and unloads deliveries from vendors.
  1. Verifies delivery be comparing to invoice.
  2. Checks for damaged or spoiled goods when delivered.
  3. Dates products immediately upon delivery from vendor.
  4. Arranges and stocks items in proper locations such as dry goods area and freezers.
  5. Separates and pulls orders to be delivered to the various school sites.
  6. Compares printouts to cafeteria orders.
  7. Maintains records of completed purchase orders and vendor invoices.
  8. Maintains records of back orders and returned projects.

   11. Loads and delivers orders to school sites.

  1. Unloads orders at school sites and delivers to cafeterias.
  2. Conducts physical inventory of warehouse stock on a regular basis.
  3. Cleans and maintains the warehouse facility.
  4. Conducts preventive maintenance and minor maintenance of warehouse equipment.
  5. Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

REPORTS TO: Director of Student Nutrition

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Work year to be in accord with current schedule for warehouse employees. Salary to be determined by individual training and experience level on current Warehouse Salary Schedule

                               

Q EVALUATION: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board of Education's policy on evaluation of classified personnel.

PHYSICAL LEVEL RATING: This position will require the employee to function at a "Heavy" physical capacity as defined by Workman's Compensation statutes. "Heavy" physical capacity indicates the ability to lift over 50 pounds occasionally or up to 50 pounds frequently.
